Here we have some pix from the third story night, held at the Black Cat Micropub in Weston-Super-Mare.

Thanks to Nick, our host at the Cat, we had a great evening, listening to many and varied stories. This will be an ongoing event, probably every six weeks. Anyone can come along to read a story, poem or just to listen.  

 

Latest news:

Our writers group, Writers' in Stone, has just published the 6th Annual anthology. I have some pieces in there if you would like to read them. Titled 'Cheese', it covers our monthly stories that we submit at each meeting. We have a theme or prompt each month and then we get together to read them out.

I am meeting with the Weston Arboritum group this evening with my proposal for a Magnificient Trees of Weston book. Working with the group, I will produce a book that will show the tree/nature trails around Weston, with full colour photos and descriptions of all the trees and their locations. Watch this space for updates.

The book is coming along nicely, although I never thought how much work is involved. Still, I am at the editing and proof reading stage, so it's looking good.
